skincare i'm loving

HEYY!

I haven't done a beauty or skincare post in literal months. I miss it! I love skincare and beauty and am seriously so passionate about it. I am in Sephora or on their online shop almost every other day. I love looking up new products, or what other bloggers are using.

First up, I have this Korres Pomegranate Toner. This stuff rocks. I use it after I cleanse my skin at night and it cleans shit up. I have always had semi-problem skin. I for sure get breakouts always around that time of the month, and have always had an uneven skin tone regardless. This toner helps with all of that. It exfoliates while wiping away the dirt and impurities that my make-up wipes left behind. It tightens pores and feeds my skin some rejuvenation after a long day at work. It also has a mild, sweet smell to it. I find most toners have a harsh alcoholic scent to them sometimes, which immediately turns me off. This is a bit pricey at $22 for a toner, but I really don't use much, and it seems to be helping my skin out.

Next is the Dr. Jart Micro Milk Peel. I saw Serena Goh using this on her snapchat and was instantly intrigued. I looked up reviews on Sephora and saw people LOVED it, so I wanted to try it out. It comes with the milk peel, and a bunch of cotton pads. One side of the pad is textured, for exfoliating, and the other side is softer for more sensitive skin. It says it is good for all skin types which is amazing. It is designed to keep skin smooth and flawless. It is supposed to exfoliate all while improving the skin's suppleness. It has lactic and salicylic acids, coconut milk and glutathione which tones and brightens! I have used it a couple of times and it takes off CRAZY amounts of impurities. I scrubbed my face with two make-up wipes before using the peel, and I could still see dirt on the cotton pads. It also leaves my skin super smooth. I've used both sides of the cotton pad, just to experiment, and I like using it both ways. I do have sensitive skin so the cotton side feels great, but I love the gauze side to scrub away dirt and excess oil. I will totally report back with my full thoughts after I finish the bottle and if it was worth the $42.

Lastly I have another Korres product! This is their Wild Rose Brightening Eye Cream. I am constantly on the hunt for a good eye cream. I want the La Mer one so bad, but it's insanely expensive. I love this one though. It's so velvety in texture and soaks right into the skin. I use their wild rose face oil, and love that, so I thought I would give the eye cream a try. I really do like it. I've always had an issue with under eye bags and dark circles, especially since my skin is so fair. The cream brightens and tightens. There is rose oil in this cream as well, with rose-gold toned optical brighteners that add luminosity. I have only used it a couple times, but I can totally see added brightness when I apply it, but so far I love it.

Any skincare you've been loving lately?

hi friends!

It's been a little, but not too long, which is what I was afraid of. I've definitely been trying to keep this blog and my content more consistent, but it's not easy. Is anyone else breaking under the pressure of these damn student loans? I am paying up the wa-zoo for my degree, and barely even using it... I have a degree in marketing, and I need a real job ASAP. I am so sick of serving tables! I don't think it's beneath me, I just feel like I was put on this earth to do more than that for sure. Anyways, here's a look I shot with the amazing Regan! That link will take you to her Instagram, which is super cool. She has a good eye, and I loved working with her! I am still finding the groove of things after I put the blog on hold for a bit, but I'm slowly getting on board again.

This look I loved on all accounts. This DOPE rose gold trench really did it for me though.  I love the movement on it, and the silkiness is right on trend. I also went with other current trends and layered this old maroon slip dress over this camel turtleneck. I wanted to pair it with these sock booties from Topshop that I have, but I'm a dummy and left them at home, so I went with these cool ankle booties from Zara instead. They have a geometric shape, with hard edges, so they toughened up this softer look. I really like the different hues of the look too. I'm a sucker for rosy/beige tones as we might have concluded. Haha, enjoy!
