September Favorites

I can not believe it's already October! I feel like just yesterday I was celebrating the Fourth of July! I already miss the summer, and the warm nights. It's already pretty cold here when the sun sets, which is mildly depressing. I obviously did a lot of shopping this month, as I do every month, but it's sort of hard to show a lot of fashion favorites, because beauty favorites just photograph way easier. I picked a few fashion faves, but have a good amount of beauty favorites this month.

My first favorite is this knit from Zara. It's the perfect light pink color, and the ribbed detail makes it interesting. It hangs on my thin frame perfectly, and the scoop neck is great for layering pretty necklaces on top. My other fashion favorite are these Phillip Lim flats. They have the perfect point, and I'm living for the cream color and the black lace-up details. I have been wearing them non-stop.

My next favorite is a candle. We have all seen Baies before. The scent is so light and fresh though. I have a couple of Diptyque candles, but recently scooped up Baies, and fell in love. Now I know why it's such a cult favorite. My last favorites are all beauty products. The first is Beauty Counter's lustro face oil with calendula. I have been mixing a few drops of this in with my moisturizer, and I've felt such a difference. My face feels like silk, and since I have such a dry complexion, my face was begging me to add an oil to my everyday routine. I am usually a creature of habit and stick with what I know, but I ventured out a few weeks ago and picked up the Aesop camellia nut hydrating cream. I LOVE this stuff. The scent is light, but the formula is a tad thicker. I am all about thick moisturizers, my skin literally sucks them right up.

My next favorite is a nail polish. I was lucky enough to receive a couple of the new Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure polishes in the mail a few weeks ago. I have been loving the color Winter Sky. This season's colors are all designer inspired. I got Rose Glass and Beige Glass from the Rodarte collection, Leaf Peeper from Prabal's collection, and Winter Sky from Tracy Reese. You can view the collections here. I'm not sure where you can buy them, but I plan to do a On The Nails V. II with some of these polishes.  My last favorite is Bite Beauty's Matt Creme Lip Crayon in Amaretto. I posted an Instagram earlier this month with it on my lips. I love this color. It plays up my lips nicely, but neutrally so my lips are not the center of attention.
