Fall Layers

Knit : H&M | Dress : Zara | Belt : H&M | Boots : Stuart Weitzman | Sunglasses : Super Sunglasses |

I am loving the over-the-knee boots trend for Fall. I scooped these boots either last season or the season before. I can't really remember. Either way, this look is all about the layers. I paired my H&M turtleneck with a Zara frayed dress that is perfect for layering! You can do what I did with a knit over top, or you can put a cotton turtleneck underneath for a more bohemian vibe. I finished the look off with a belt to give me some shape, and my favorite over-the-knee leather boots!

Hey All

Thursday, October 22, 2015

Hey guys,

Just updating a little bit since I haven't posted in a while. I am currently visiting some family in Florida for a couple of days. It's so humid here, but I'm sort of loving it since it's getting colder and colder in Boston. I took some clothes with me to shoot some looks while I'm away, so I'm trying to stay consistent! It's funny because I am shooting Fall looks back home, but here it's 80 degrees so my plan to shoot looks sort of back-fired, but I powered through it.

I am actually going back home tomorrow, so I will hopefully have a post up by Saturday. I'm kind of going through blogger's block, aka I don't really have any ideas for upcoming posts. I'll think of something though.

6 Coats You Need This Season

Friday, October 16, 2015

Hey Guys!

So I was scrolling through my email the other day and saw Farfetch wanted me to show my readers the 6 definitive coats this upcoming season! These coats are beautifully curated and so extremely beautiful in their own ways. I think my favorite style is "great white". I am such a neutral girl if you couldn't tell from my outfits. I do color every now and then, as in pale pink or a burgundy blazer, haha. I rarely wear bright colors, so I am in LOVE with that Too Good piece. It's a beautiful cream shade, and I would pair it with my nude turtleneck dress and my white sneaks, or for a more dressed up look my burgundy slip dress and strappy heels. I'm also lusting after that Carven camel coat. It's such a classic shape and I can see myself wearing that straight through to early Spring.

Thank you so much to Farfetch for sharing this graphic about upcoming coat trends!

Autumnal Daze

Blazer : H&M | Blouse : H&M (not online)  | Jeans : Topshop  | Boots : H&M | Bag : Chloe | Sunglasses : Super Retro Future | Belt : Target

Loving the 70's vibes in this look. I am so into brown suede right now, so I scooped these booties up at H&M. I paired them with my cropped Topshop jeans and a flowery blouse and coordinating boyfriend blazer on top. Saddle bags are also in right now, so my mini marcie fit perfectly into the look!

Rainy Days

Trench : Zara (sold out, similar here) | Shirt : COS | Skirt : Zara | Shoes : Zara | Scarf : Asos | Sunglasses : Super Retro Future

For this look, I paired my trusty black ankle boots with a midi-pleated skirt, and a trench since the weather was stormy. I love this look. It was so easy to put together. You can also dress this skirt up or down. I decided to dress it up a bit, but it could easily work with a denim jacket and sneakers!

Fall Uniform

Jacket : Zara | Blouse : Zara | Jeans : Amo Denim | Shoes : Lacoste | Sunglasses : Super Retro Future

I feel like these items are going to be on my body all Fall long. I have been obsessed with this top. It's right on trend with a tie-neck and bell sleeves. I am also loving this suede jacket. It was relatively inexpensive since it's from Zara. It's a classic shape, and color. I know I'll be wearing it all Fall and come Spring. I paired those things with my new Amo jeans. I'm loving the cropped fit with a tiny bit of distress. I topped it off with my sneaks and my aviators! I can style this single pieces so differently, so I'm excited to see what I can come up with!

Blah Blah Blah

Tuesday, October 6, 2015

This is just going to be a post me blabbing away. I woke up at one today, because I was so exhausted from working all weekend. Do any fellow bloggers out there work in the restaurant industry? If so let me know, we can bond over it. It's a great gig, and funds my blog, but my god it's exhausting.

Enough complaining. I've been rifling through The Style Addict's tumblr all day. I curated some images I wanted to share.

I love looking through style tumblr's just to get some inspo. I love curating ideas through what I see on the internet and bringing them out in my blog posts and Instagrams.

Another thing, I obviously do not post on this blog every day, but I am active on social media! I usually post a couple of Instagrams every day, and tweet!

I'm going to shoot a look tomorrow so stay tuned!

September Favorites

Friday, October 2, 2015

I can not believe it's already October! I feel like just yesterday I was celebrating the Fourth of July! I already miss the summer, and the warm nights. It's already pretty cold here when the sun sets, which is mildly depressing. I obviously did a lot of shopping this month, as I do every month, but it's sort of hard to show a lot of fashion favorites, because beauty favorites just photograph way easier. I picked a few fashion faves, but have a good amount of beauty favorites this month.

My first favorite is this knit from Zara. It's the perfect light pink color, and the ribbed detail makes it interesting. It hangs on my thin frame perfectly, and the scoop neck is great for layering pretty necklaces on top. My other fashion favorite are these Phillip Lim flats. They have the perfect point, and I'm living for the cream color and the black lace-up details. I have been wearing them non-stop.

My next favorite is a candle. We have all seen Baies before. The scent is so light and fresh though. I have a couple of Diptyque candles, but recently scooped up Baies, and fell in love. Now I know why it's such a cult favorite. My last favorites are all beauty products. The first is Beauty Counter's lustro face oil with calendula. I have been mixing a few drops of this in with my moisturizer, and I've felt such a difference. My face feels like silk, and since I have such a dry complexion, my face was begging me to add an oil to my everyday routine. I am usually a creature of habit and stick with what I know, but I ventured out a few weeks ago and picked up the Aesop camellia nut hydrating cream. I LOVE this stuff. The scent is light, but the formula is a tad thicker. I am all about thick moisturizers, my skin literally sucks them right up.

My next favorite is a nail polish. I was lucky enough to receive a couple of the new Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure polishes in the mail a few weeks ago. I have been loving the color Winter Sky. This season's colors are all designer inspired. I got Rose Glass and Beige Glass from the Rodarte collection, Leaf Peeper from Prabal's collection, and Winter Sky from Tracy Reese. You can view the collections here. I'm not sure where you can buy them, but I plan to do a On The Nails V. II with some of these polishes.  My last favorite is Bite Beauty's Matt Creme Lip Crayon in Amaretto. I posted an Instagram earlier this month with it on my lips. I love this color. It plays up my lips nicely, but neutrally so my lips are not the center of attention.
