The First Fall Looks

Friday, August 28, 2015

Sweater : Zara | Jeans : Topshop | Boots : Zara | Scarf : Asos | Bag : Zara

So I recently got the privilege of shooting with the incredible Cibelle. If you want to check out her website, just click on her name. Her work is incredible! We meet for coffee, and just chatted. She lives in LA but was in town for a bit, so I'm happy I got the chance to meet her! She educated me on how to get certain looks for certain images. So helpful.

We shot this look right on Newbury. That was the first time I've ever done a shoot in town, and I actually loved it. I didn't feel nervous or embarrassed. I definitely need to get better with my body language with a photographer other than my mom, hahaha. Anyways, I really wanted to shoot some Fall looks a little early, for some inspiration. I'm shooting another look with Cibelle tomorrow, so stay tuned!

Again, check out Cibelle's website HERE and also follow her on Instagram HERE.

Currently Craving

Wednesday, August 26, 2015

currently

Little lazy to put a beauty post together, so I did a currently craving instead. I have seriously been a shopping FIEND lately. There are so many new fall trends and styles emerging, and it's hard not to spend everything I have. Clearly, the 70's vibes are pretty strong here. I have been loving the whole suede re-emergence and darker colors for Fall. The burgundy/deep red theme is perfect for this time of year. I really want the Asos suede jacket, and I miiiiight have to scoop it up when I get paid tomorrow.

I've also been craving new sunnies, even though I got a new pair not too long ago. I have a sunglasses addiction. I also love this style of YSL bags. It's classic, and the size and color are PERFECT.

I Have This Thing For Denim Jackets

Tuesday, August 25, 2015

Jacket : Mother Denim (on sale!) | Skirt : Zara | Tank : Theory (old) Boots : Asos | Bag : Zara | Sunglasses : Celine

For this look I really wanted it styled around the jacket. I love Mother Denim and finally made a new purchase. I found this awesome jacket on Saks Off Fifth. I'm loving the frayed cuffs, it adds texture to the look for sure. I was having a super bad hair day, so I threw it up into a bun. Then, I paired the jacket with a simple black tank, my favorite striped skirt, and these zip-up ankle booties. I topped off the look with my Celine sunnies and this leather backpack.

P.S I am so sorry about how absent I've been all over social media. I have been going through some personal problems for the last week. I've been really distracted and haven't had much interest in keeping a presence for the past couple days. I just need some time for me, but I will definitely keep posting.

Skincare I'm Loving

Wednesday, August 19, 2015

I don't switch up my skincare routine often, but I'll pick up new things along the way that I add to my list. I discovered Frank Body a while ago and have been using their products ever since. I love the body scrub to exfoliate with about once a week. It leaves your skin feeling heavenly. I also am a coffee fanatic, so the grounds are a pleasant smell for me.

I have already gone through an original scrub, and a coconut and grapeseed scrub as well. I am trying this cacao one next, and can not wait. The scrub is all organic, and buffs away dead skin cells to encourage rejuvenation. Caffeine always stimulates blood flow, which helps reduce the appearance of cellulite, stretch marks or other skin conditions. There are no parabens or sulfates, just heavenly goodness.

This is the face cleanser and the face moisturizer. As you can see on the washcloth, the cleanser is a creamy gray texture, and the moisturizer is a creamy white. The cleanser consists of coffee (duh), white clay, rosehip oil along with coconut, almond and grapeseed oils. It seriously leaves your skin feeling like silk, but not overly oily. The moisturizer consists of green coffee extract, cocoa and shea butters, Vitamin E, along with coconut, almond and grapeseed oils. I usually use Lush 'Celestial', but I've been using this for the past month and am loving the change. The Vitamin E gives my skin a boost it really needs, while the cocoa and shea butters leave my skin feeling super soft.

Also here's a table of all the ingredients in their coffee scrubs. If you go on their site, you can see what each ingredient does for your skin!

You guys need to check out their products and website!

Fall Wear

Tuesday, August 18, 2015

Top : Ganni | Jeans : Rag and Bone | Shoes : Converse | Sunglasses : Retro Super Future | Belt : Chacon

Fall is right around the corner, which is exciting but also I don't understand where the summer went. I feel like I graduated yesterday and now it's almost September. I love the fall because the weather cools down, but the fashion is great. I love seeing new styles and trends for chillier days!

This Ganni top is everything. The gold studs around the neck and cuffs are so retro, I'm loving it!

Shirt : Zara | Jacket : Target | Skirt : Reformation | Boots : Zara (old) | Studded Cuff : No 3. via December Thieves

This skirt is everything. It's seriously already sold out on Reformation, but you can surely find similar options everywhere. I love the gingham against other textures like the jean jacket and the leather boots. Let me know what you think!!

70's Vibes | Part II

Friday, August 7, 2015

Dress : Reformation | Shirt : Theory (old) | Shoes : Zara | Bag : Madewell (old) | Hat : Forever 21 | Studded Cuff : No. 3 via December Thieves

So I'm clearly still loving this 70's trend, and I hope it sticks around for just a bit longer. I paired a navy dress with my favorite espadrilles as the moment, and a big hat to level everything out!

I am leaving for Cape Cod on Monday for a couple of days, and can't wait to document my trip! I will be posting on Instagram and Twitter all throughout the week, and hopefully will have some posts up during my stay as well. Have a good weekend!

Belted and Buckled

Tuesday, August 4, 2015

Romper : Asos | Boots : Nastygal (old) | Belt : Chacon | Bracelet : No. 3 via December Thieves | Sunglasses : Super Sunglasses | Gold Choker : Anita K  | Ponytail Wrap : Nastygal

Obviously still in my denim days. I can't really seem to get enough of it lately. I paired this denim romper with some chunkier accessories and topped it off with my favorite gray booties. I also incorporated the leather ponytail wrap I was mentioning in my last post. I am not fantastic at putting on the wrap myself, but I'll get there. I am loving layered necklaces and bracelets right now. I hope you like this look :)
