May Favorites

I have been seriously slacking on my blogging game. My student loans are starting to kick in, and it's not looking good. I usually use a lot of my extra money to fund posts for my blog, but now that I am going to have a ton of extra bills, it makes me so pessimistic.

I love blogging, but I feel like I need fresh product to inspire new posts. It's so hard budgeting. I am constantly wanting to buy clothes and beauty products, but it comes to a point where I need to be an adult and pay for my education. It stinks! I am going to try my best to stay inspired. If the posts become less and less, it's not because I want that to happen, it's just because I'm trying to be responsible!

Enough of my ranting about my sorry life though, here are my May favorites! You can find most of these items at either Sephora, or the stores listed. The rose gold bracelet was a graduation present from my boyfriend, and I have been OBSESSED. It's 18k rose gold with 20 little diamonds on the front. It's dainty and beautiful. I've been using the Makeup Forever Primer for the past month and LOVE it. I have a huge problem with pores on my t-zone, and this primer smoothes over everything. For skin care, Sunday Riley's Good Genes has been in my routine. It's a serum that smoothes, exfoliates, fill lines and wrinkles and just improves skin's overall quality. I put it on before my moisturizer and it leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth.

For lip products, OCC's lip tar in Trollop has been on point. It's extremely pigmented, so I have to be careful applying it, but I love the coral color. Mac's Stripdown lip liner has also been a favorite. It's a rich brown mahogany color, and I've seen Kylie Jenner using it a lot lately.

For accessories, these Topshop lace-up flats have been on current rotation. They're comfortable and stylish. And this Brandi Melville choker necklace has been the perfect accessory to wear on a daily basis.

My favorite scent has been the Nest Dahlia and Vines rollerball. The description reads "dewy daffodils, peonies, and rose are blended with the essence of garden vines." It's a beautiful, light scent.
