Spring Make-Up

Tuesday, May 19, 2015

I change up my make-up routine every season. In the winter, I wear darker tones and and heavier coverage face products, but when it warms up, my routine changes. Here's how I've been applying my face lately...

After I apply my skincare, I apply the MUFE Step 1 Smoothing Primer. I have serious pores on my t-zone, so smoothing is an essential for me in primers. Next, I go in with the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. I apply it with a Morphe foundation brush. Next, I go in with my ride or die concealer, which is the Nars Creamy Concealer, and I blend out my under-eyes, and any imperfections with a Beauty Blender. After my base is finished, I lock everything in with my Laura Mercier Universal setting powder with a Real Techniques Powder Brush

Next I go back in with the same powder brush and apply the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer right under my cheekbones, my jawline and my temples. I blend that out and put a touch of my Nyx Baked Blush in Chiffon on the apples of my cheeks with a blush brush. To finish my face make-up, I will use my MUFE Pro Sculpting Duo (the highlight) and my Nars Ita Brush to put a shimmery glow on the top of my cheekbones, the bridge of my nose, and my chin.

After my face is completed, I fill in my brows with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Caramel, and lock them in place with the Clear Brow Gel. For an everyday look, I will just use my MAC eye shadow in Bamboo for a nice neutral look. To top it off, I might use my Kat Von D Tattoo Liner, and my Benefit Rollerlash (not pictured because I'm an idiot and forgot to include the mascara). My lips I usually keep neutral as well and finish off with my Fresh Sugar Balm

I got bored and decided to photograph my feet.
