5 Minute Face

Wednesday, May 27, 2015

So today I have a little quick post for you all. I usually do my make-up in about 10-15 minutes on a regular day.  On a day when I'm running super behind, which is sort of pretty often, this is my routine. I don't have time for a ton of skincare, so I stick to my ride or die which is the Sunday Riley Good Genes Treatment. It's definitely not cheap, but it really does improve the texture, fine lines and exfoliates all in one. After the serum,  I use my MUFE Smoothing Primer. I have been using this for a couple of weeks, and it's definitely a new favorite. Then, I apply my foundation quickly, which is the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. I have been loving this lately! Once my foundation is on, I apply my ride or die Nars Creamy Concealer. I've been using it for years, and honestly don't feel like trying anything else because I love it so much.

After my base is done, I'll put a bit of the Hourglass Ambient Bronzer all over my face. I don't usually have time to contour if I'm running late. This bronzer has a bit of shimmer in it, and it really does light up my face. Then to give my face a glow I will apply the Nars Super Orgasm Illuminator to stick with my bronze-y look. My brows are always a must. It doesn't matter if I have 20 minutes or 2 minutes, my brows get done before leaving the house. I use my favorite pencil, the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Caramel. I then top off my look with a touch of RollerLash by Benefit, and one of my favorite nude lipsticks at the moment, Sin A Mon by Maybelline.

Suede Skirt Part Troix

Thursday, May 21, 2015

As we all know, I've sort of been obsessed with this skirt. It's been in a couple outfit posts, and here it is again. It's just so versatile! I never knew I needed it so much until I bought it. I went with a simple little look today. I paired the skirt with a flowy blouse, some strappy sandals and this oldie but goodie bag I recently re-discovered!

Spring Make-Up

Tuesday, May 19, 2015

I change up my make-up routine every season. In the winter, I wear darker tones and and heavier coverage face products, but when it warms up, my routine changes. Here's how I've been applying my face lately...

After I apply my skincare, I apply the MUFE Step 1 Smoothing Primer. I have serious pores on my t-zone, so smoothing is an essential for me in primers. Next, I go in with the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. I apply it with a Morphe foundation brush. Next, I go in with my ride or die concealer, which is the Nars Creamy Concealer, and I blend out my under-eyes, and any imperfections with a Beauty Blender. After my base is finished, I lock everything in with my Laura Mercier Universal setting powder with a Real Techniques Powder Brush

Next I go back in with the same powder brush and apply the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer right under my cheekbones, my jawline and my temples. I blend that out and put a touch of my Nyx Baked Blush in Chiffon on the apples of my cheeks with a blush brush. To finish my face make-up, I will use my MUFE Pro Sculpting Duo (the highlight) and my Nars Ita Brush to put a shimmery glow on the top of my cheekbones, the bridge of my nose, and my chin.

After my face is completed, I fill in my brows with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Caramel, and lock them in place with the Clear Brow Gel. For an everyday look, I will just use my MAC eye shadow in Bamboo for a nice neutral look. To top it off, I might use my Kat Von D Tattoo Liner, and my Benefit Rollerlash (not pictured because I'm an idiot and forgot to include the mascara). My lips I usually keep neutral as well and finish off with my Fresh Sugar Balm

I got bored and decided to photograph my feet.

Currently Craving

Saturday, May 16, 2015

So I finally got around to making a wishlist. I have been soooo busy these past few weeks. I have been working literally non-stop. Last week I worked almost 57 hours. I can't believe I have even updated this blog at all due to the time limits I'm working with. I am a bit bummed because I thought with school being over, that I would have more time for this blog, and now it seems I have less. My boss schedules me non-stop, it's really annoying.

Anyways, I am updating on a Saturday because I did not work today! I actually graduated college! Haha, I am so happy it's over with, and that I don't have to stress about it anymore. The ceremony was long, but the peonies my parents have me afterwards made it worth it. My boyfriend also got me a gorgeous rose-gold bracelet with diamonds that I took a picture of. It's on my Instagram if you want to check it out!

On to the wishlist...

These are just some things I've been wanting. The Gypsy Water perfume is still on my list because I have yet to get it. I've also got the Alex drawers from Ikea but they are so unorganized right now, so I've really had my eye on these Muji organizers.

I saw these Schutz sandals on Danielle Bernstein last week, and fell in love. They aren't crazy expensive but enough to make me think twice about purchasing them. Hopefully I can figure it out, because they are beautiful. I have also been loving these jeans. I love the raw hemline, I think it gives the simple denim an interesting look.

Also, how gorgeous is this cage clutch? It's way past my price point but I love how it looks! Shop the rest of the post down below!

Pop of Rose Gold

Tuesday, May 12, 2015

So today I went with something obviously not so Spring-ish, but I was loving the silhouette of this look. I love pairing culottes with a tucked-in blouse. Since the outfit is all black I went with a pop of metallic in my shoes! I have been wearing these sandals non-stop. I'll be back tomorrow with a wish list I hope! Have a nice day :)

It's Spring!

Thursday, May 7, 2015

It is finally officially Spring here in Boston, and I couldn't be happier. I paired this suede button-up skirt with a fringe tank top and fur clutch for some added texture. I realized the other day how I am always shooting looks with sunglasses on, and today decided to show my face! Haha, enjoy!

April Favorites

Friday, May 1, 2015

I can't even believe April is over. This is what I have been loving the past month. I had been doing some shopping, nothing new. I picked up a few beauty products as well as fashion bits. These are all super easy to find online as well! Enjoy!

P.S Still trying to figure out how I want the whole "favorites" posts to be formatted. I'm playing around with it.
