Hey Guys!
So today I have a little description of everything I've loved in the past month. To be honest, February has ALWAYS been my least favorite month. It's cold, dreary and summer seems so far. Fortunately, it's now March, and I can already see signs of Spring. Today, the sun is shining and it's a whooping 30 degrees outside (trust me, that's warm). I didn't really have too much of a buying craze in February. I really wanted to save my money for my upcoming trip to Florida. I'm leaving Saturday, and couldn't be more excited. I can not WAIT to shoot some outfit posts down there in the bright sunshine! It'll be awesome.
Anyways, I'm honestly still figuring out this whole "favorites" shoot. I'm having a hard time formatting the pictures in a way that I like every month. I would rather not do a video every time, and I like creating blog posts with photographs a lot more than shooting and editing videos. Let me know if you know of any good formatting tips for posts like these, I could use some help. Enjoy the favorites!
First up is some stationary. I bought these cute cards from Sugar Paper LA. I am obsessed. These were actually mentioned in one of my first monthly favorites ever. I've re-discovered them, and actually just sent my family out some cute notes using them. They're a super stylish way to keep in touch with loved ones.
My favorite pair of shoes this month has to be my vintage loafers. I'm not exactly sure how old they are, but they're so old school, which I love. They're in great condition, and a beautiful cream color. They have a small heel, and are super comfortable.
I've been getting super into plants lately. I bought this cute little one at Target, and am completely smitten with the way in looks on a little shelf in my room. It gives my room not only a bit of color, but some liveliness. I love the different textures throughout and am seriously debating buying some more to spread throughout my room.
The Storyteller by Jodi Picoult is my favorite book of the month. I'm about halfway through, and love the story line so far. It's about a young, Jewish girl named Sage who is a baker in a little town in New Hampshire. She meets this man named Josef through a grief group that she attends to get over the loss of her mother. She later finds out when getting to know him that he was a Nazi back in the 1930's and 1940's. The book tells of how she wants to get him arrested and suffer in jail just as he made people suffer back in Nazi Germany. It's a great read, and I can't wait to finish it.
I've been using this eye cream all month. It is the Rose Hydrating Eye Gel Cream by Fresh. It really does improve the hydration under my eyes, since they are super dry due to the cold weather. It smells of roses and cucumbers. Perfection.

This is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit. I actually talked about this kit maybe a week or so ago and did a brief review of it. I seriously love this thing. I love the middle shade on the bottom row for contouring my cheekbones, temples and jawline. I then use the banana shade to lock in my under-eye concealer. I will then use either highlighting shade to highlight my upper cheekbones, down the bridge of my nose, my cupid's bow, and my chin. I love the sleek packaging, and the magnetic closure. It's amazing.

This is the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow palette. I am obsessed with this. I'm sorry, but the packaging is my favorite part. I'm such a sucker for rose-gold anything, and this is definitely a winner. I love the sculpting shade for contouring and bronzing up my face a bit. The highlighting shade is super intense, and is obviously a more golden color, which doesn't show up on my skin too much, but it's still really nice. It's a bit pricey, but worth it. If you have a boyfriend, make him buy it for you (that's what I did)
These are the Karen Walker Super Duper Sunglasses. I have had these for over a year and recently started re-wearing them. I love the shape on these, and they're perfect for those days I just want to hide my face when I'm out and about bare-faced. I can't wait to rock these in Florida.
This is the Laura Mercier Hydrating Foundation Primer. I've recently just started using primers, because I really never saw the significance in them before. I purchased this one a couple weeks ago at Sephora and have been loving the results! It really does make my foundation apply nice and smooth. I have super dry skin right now because of the weather, but this primer is doing a wonderful job at hiding that!
This is the Weleda Wild Rose Deodorant. I purchased this probably a year ago at Whole Foods. I love rose-scented anything, so this was a no-brainer. It smells wonderful when applied, but beware : it will sting if you have just recently shaved, since there is alcohol in it.
This is the Milani Shadow Eyez in Champagne Toast. This is a beautiful eye shadow stick. It's creamy and super pigmented. I love putting this on my lower lash line to brighten up my eyes with some copper colored eye shadow on my lid. I wear contacts, so I have been having a problem with it seeping onto my lenses and putting blurs in my vision, which sort of sucks. I have been working getting the product a tad lower on my lash line so it doesn't end up on my eye. But other that that the color is gorgeous and I love the formula!
