Leather Separates

Friday, February 27, 2015

Hey All!

So today I went out into the bitter cold residing in Massachusetts and did some shots. I LOVE this outfit. I love the fun vibe that the leather trousers give to the outfit. I wanted them to be the focal point of the look, so I paired them with a plain black turtleneck, some loafers, and a loose-fitting trench. What do you think?

Room Tour

Thursday, February 26, 2015

Hey Everyone!

So today I thought I would do something a tad different and give you a sneak peak into my personal haven. I don't spend an extraordinary amount of time in my room, but I do love spending time in there because it really is a piece of me and my taste. It took a lot of time and effort to get it just the way I like it, and I'm still not really done. My room is super small, so I had to arrange things in the most efficient way possible. I do all of my blogging in my room. It keeps me inspired and creative. I have such a strong passion for interior design, so I try my best to keep everything in a way that I love. I hope you enjoy!

New In - Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit

Monday, February 23, 2015

Hey all!

So the other day I was browsing Sephora and came across this contour kit. I've been hearing numerous things about it and that it is worth the $40, so I leapt. It came in the mail a couple days ago and I've been using it every single day since. It is seriously BEAUTIFUL. I am obsessed with the highlight shades, and I love using the banana shade to set my under-eye concealer. The pans are a relatively good size, and all are so blend-able. The palette comes with six shades. The top row contains Vanilla, Banana, and Fawn. The second row contains Java, Havana and Sand. I use my NARS Ita Kabuki to contour the hollows of my cheeks and my temples. Some people don't think this product is worth the hype, but personally I think the powders looks great with my skin tone. I definitely need to experiment more, but I am loving it so far!

Any contour kits you guys are loving?

Shades of Cream

Hey There!

I am ecstatic, I finally made it out to shoot an outfit. Of course, it was snowing (what else is new) but I braved the bitter cold and made things happen. I didn't really venture too far from my house because there's just massive amounts of snow everywhere. I was sort of feeling the one color scheme for this look. I am OBSESSED with this fur coat, and just centered the look around it. I went with minimal jewelry and a little Clare Vivier cross-body to top it off!

5 Favorite Lipsticks

Friday, February 13, 2015

Hi All!

So today I am gonna tell you a bit about my favorite lipsticks. I don't really experiment a lot when it comes to make-up. I stick to what I know and when I find a brand I like I buy continuously from that brand and don't venture out of the norm too often unless there's a product that is a must-have. I feel like most of my lipsticks are from either Nars or MAC. I actually really want more Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks because I like the formula and the pigmentation, but I really think the Nars Audacious lipsticks are the best I've tried in a really long time. They are so creamy and pigmented, it's the best. As you can tell from the pictures, I also don't experiment with different colors. I have super pale skin and auburn hair, so it's a tad hard for certain colors to look nice on me, but I mostly stick with nudes, pinky-nudes, rose colors, and corals. I RARELY do a red lip. I don't have the best lip shape for such a statement, but every once in a while I go all out. So here is what I wear any given day....

The first lipstick is Nars Audacious lipstick in Juliette. This is probably my favorite coral shade ever. I don't wear this often because it is very bright and bold, but I love the formula and when I'm feeling daring, it's my go-to.

I love Charlotte Tilbury's lipstick in Stoned Rose. I love wearing it with my Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk. It's the perfect Kylie Jenner inspired lip. My favorite nude of all time is Mac Myth. It's a beige-pink color and I love wearing it with a smokey eye.

My second favorite coral is is YSL Rouge Volupte in #13. These lipsticks are so creamy, and extremely pigmented. I don't use this one often since it's so expensive and I want to preserve it as long as possible!

My last favorite is the Nars Audacious lipstick in Anita. I wear this lipstick all the time. It is by far my favorite rose colored lip. I love the formula and it wears so great all day long.

P.S I rearranged my room a little today and I'm feeling so inspired! I want to do a new Youtube video soon on what I put on my clothing rack. Stay tuned!

Tuesday Inspiration

Tuesday, February 10, 2015

Hello there!

How is everyone? Does anyone reading this live in New England? I can not believe the amount of snow we are getting. I can barely drive anywhere, do any errands, etc. It's getting a tad ridiculous. I feel like all I talk about is the snow, because it is seriously taking over my life! I can't do any outfit posts, which really upsets me. I have so many outfits planned to shoot, but I seriously can't take pictures because the snow is piled about 5 feet high everywhere you go except main roads, which aren't really feasible to shoot photos on. I'm so frustrated! I feel like I am in a rut! There's only so many things I can do right now, so I need to start being extra creative. I'm hoping to get a tripod and remote for my camera within the next week or so. Anyways, I needed to get my creative juices flowing, so here's some inspiration I piled up!

Currently Craving

Thursday, February 5, 2015

Hey There!

Today I have a Currently Craving! I haven't done one of these in a WHILE, and figured I was past due! I've been eyeing these things for a while! I actually bought the eye cream today because I was in Sephora and was desperate since my Body Shop eye cream ran out. I hope this gives you some inspiration! Time to start saving!

January Favorites!

Tuesday, February 3, 2015

Hey Guys!

Today I finally got around to doing my January favorites! I was going to do them yesterday before I realized Boston got ANOTHER foot of snow last night and I got stranded at my boyfriend's house without my camera, and well my favorites, haha. I am home now though, so I shot the products! I really didn't do that much shopping this month, since I was straight broke from Christmas, and NYC back in December. I rounded up some things as best I could though.

Anyways, how is everyone? I'm doing pretty well. I have to work on Valentine's day, which is unfortunate but I think my boyfriend and I are going to go to Sak's next Tuesday and each pick out something for a nice little Valentine's day gift and then get sushi after to celebrate since we can't on the actual day. My two favorite things, Saks and sushi. It's gonna be a good day.

Have a good day!

So these are my favorites! First is my weekly planner than I got at The Container Store. I look at it almost every single day and it's really helped with keeping my life nice and organized. It creates a great steadiness in my blogging, which is always a plus! Shop it here. My favorite foundation of the month has got to be the Makeup Forever HD Foundation. It's full coverage and makes my skin look amazing on and off the camera. Shop it here. My favorite brow highlight this month has to MAC's Nylon. It's the perfect blend of shimmer for making my brow-bone pop. I've been consistently using it all month long, shop it here. I've also been wearing these three bracelets all month long. The thick bracelet and the studded one are from Madewell. The drip one is from & Other Stories.  I don't think any of them are available anymore, but you could always go in store and find out!

A while ago, I realized my room needed a re-vamp. I was getting bored with the current mood. I went over to Target and picked out some new decorative pillows for my bed to add a little color to my room. I love them! They instantly lighten my mood. Shop this one here and I also picked this one up as well. I've been using this pencil cup as a make-up brush holder for the last month, and have been loving the vibe it gives to my vanity. Shop it here.

As you all know, if you follow me on Instagram, these rose gold loafers are my LIFE. I have been completely obsessed with them. They do run a size too big so I had to exchange them for a size smaller, but they're so chic and super affordable! Shop them here. My favorite book of the month is 'Not That Kind Of Girl' by Lena Dunham. It is pretty funny and takes you through the comedienne's life as she grows up and learns about sex, family, and working in Hollywood. I thought it was a light, easy read and had me laughing all the way through. Shop it here. My last favorite is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipsticks. These are phenomenal! They are so pigmented and creamy. I talked about them a bit in my What's In My Bag video I did about a week ago. I'm obsessed! I'm purchasing more ASAP. Shop them here
