Hey Everyone!

Today I shot a look for you all! If you follow me on Instagram, you've seen these shoes a million times already. But, a couple weeks ago I ordered some rose gold metallic loafers from Forever 21. I am OBSESSED with them. They are so chic, and the silhouette is so classic! I wanted to include them in a look, so I put this together! I realize these are probably the most impractical shoe you could possibly wear with how much snow is on the ground, but they look amazing, don't they? Forever 21 actually re-grammed my photo of these babies yesterday! It seriously made my day. I kept the rest of the look fairly simple, since the shoes are such a statement. Also, excuse the bags under my eyes, I haven't been sleeping that well, teehee.

Blizzard of 2015!

Hey Guys!

I am so sorry I have been absent. I had a really bad stomach bug the past couple of days, and couldn't even leave my bed. I think something was going around, because some of my friends were sick and then I was immediately sick the day after. It was awful. Anyways, today I couldn't do much because not only is there a state of emergency in Massachusetts, but there is a travel ban on as well! Everyone is pretty much stuck in whatever house they are in, so it's pretty much a state wide snow day! I went out earlier and took some pictures! I am currently at my boyfriend's house, and he lives across the street from the beach. We got around two and half feet of snow, and it's still going strong. I'm just hoping the power doesn't go out! Juno you have seriously made your mark!

East Coasters, stay safe and stay warm!

Getting Back Into It

Friday, January 23, 2015

Hey All!

So yesterday I made a new Youtube video! I filmed a new What's In My Bag! I figured I would do a new one, since the things in my bag have changed quite a bit since the last blog post I did. I was up till like 3 in the morning editing it. I like doing videos so much, but I definitely need more practice with editing! Let me know what you think!

Union And Fifth NYFW Mood Board

Tuesday, January 20, 2015

Hey All!

So today I have a mood board for you all! Union and Fifth which is a non-profit online luxury consignment store contacted about me entering their NYFW contest! They wanted me to create a look centered this lovely blue Chanel quilted bag. The person with the best mood board gets tickets to shows at this seasons NYFW, a hotel room, and the Chanel bag! So when creating this look, I wanted neutral colors and different textures to correlate with the bag.

I went with this Asos faux-fur jacket. I'm loving the colors and the prominent collar! It's so beautiful. For bottoms, I went with some mom jeans from Topshop. Since my upper body is busy with fur and texture, I kept the bottom fairly simple. For shoes, I chose these black pointy Balenciaga booties. I always see Danielle of WeWoreWhat rocking these booties, and have been lusting over them forever. They're such a classy shape, and definitely add a needed edge to the look. For jewelry, I also kept it pretty simple because the bag should be the star of the show. I chose some dainty rings and bracelets from Catbird, which is my favorite jewelry store. Their pieces are indescribable. They put so much thought and detail into their pieces. For earrings, I chose these beautiful pearl and diamond earrings from Delfina Delettrez. They are simply gorgeous and definitely catch the eye. To top off this look, I threw in some Celine sunglasses, and a simple gold nail to keep the look looking consistent.

I want to win this contest so bad! I really tried to create a unique and powerful look that will make a statement. My life dream has always been to own a Chanel handbag, and I'm hoping my styling will come in handy for me to win one! I even took the time to handwrite the header for this moodboard! I wanted it to look personal, with my taste, but still stylish and classic. I can definitely see myself rocking this look or even something similar to shows this season!

Again, thank you Union and Fifth for informing me of this contest and giving me a chance to win the trip of my dreams!

What I Carry in My Travel Make-Up Bag

Friday, January 16, 2015

Hey Guys!

So today it's downright freezing outside, so I decided to nix the outfit shooting for today. I can not wait for the summer time, seriously. For today's post, I decided to share what I take with me for skincare and make-up if I'm going somewhere overnight or away for around 2-3 days. I take more things with me if I'm staying somewhere more long term, but for a quick trip I like to keep it nice and light.

So, for starters, I keep everything in this vintage Chanel cosmetic pouch. Sometimes I will switch up my bag, but this is the one I use for now. I got this off of eBay a while ago, and wanted to start using it more. I do line it with tissue though because god forbid something leak and ruin the case.

For skincare I keep it minimal. I obviously take my Boscia cleansing oil to remove any make-up, and also my Glossier Rosewater Mist just to refresh my skin and keep it moisturized. I also take with my my Lush Celestial moisturizer and my BodyShop eye cream. I can't really live without those things, so they travel with me everywhere. For my hair, I keep it seriously minimal. All I take with me is the Davine's All In One Milk Treatment. It's leaves my hair super soft, shiny and smelling amazing. For scents, I just take my Roses De Chloe. It's a nice, sweet scent that lasts all day long.

For make-up, I also keep it pretty simple. I have to have my concealer with me, EVERYWHERE. It's my holy grail product, and I could not live without it. I don't even really need foundation, but concealer is not questionable. I also will take my Nars Eyeshadow Primer, and my Lorac Unzipped Palette just because it's small, thin, and has a good range of shadows. To create any look, I will take my Zoeva Petite Blender, my MAC #219 and #217.  I usually finish off my eyes with my beloved They're Real mascara, and my Kat Von D Tattoo Liner. I would never travel anywhere without my Anastasia Brow Wiz. For a highlighter, I've been loving Benefit's Highbeam. I love using it on my cheekbones, and as a brow highlight. For lips, I'll usually bring a couple of options. I've been taking my Hourglass Femme Nude lipstick in Nude # 4 and my Anastasia Liquid Lipstick in Pure Hollywood, which I've been obsessed with!

So that is what I usually take with me for overnight trips! What do you take with you for overnighters?

Hello there!

I am so sorry I have been absent the past two days! On Monday I had to go to the Volkswagen dealership and try to get a new tire, since I got a flat. Then I had to work at night. Yesterday I had to go back to the dealership to install my new tire, and then had a work meeting in the afternoon which basically left no time for shooting anything. The winter stinks! I've said it a million times and I'll say it again, this lack of daylight is really screwing with me!

But today I shot an outfit! I just paired some basic black jeans with my Nasty Gal booties, a grid-patterned button down, an oversized coat and a pop of blue with my bag! Enjoy!

Coat : Theory | Jeans : J Brand (old, similar here) | Flannel : H&M (not on site, similar options here) | Ring : & Other Stories | Boots : Grey City via Nasty Gal (sold out) | Bag : H&M (not online)

Fur Collar

Hello there!

Today I ventured out into the freezing Boston temperatures to shoot an outfit. I have been in such a style rut lately. I am so over everything in my wardrobe, but funds are tight right now since I'm literally making no money at work (winter stinks for servers) and Christmas and NYC seriously wiped out my bank account. I need some inspiration. I look at Instagram for some, but end up getting annoyed because I feel like everyone dresses perfectly and I look like a slob. It's so hard to compete with other bloggers! I hate comparing myself but it's hard not too. Let me know down below if you know of any inspiring blogs, because I need a re-vamp!

Anyways, here is the look I shot! My dad is a pretty good photographer, no? Haha, I just paired a chunky knit with a leather jacket, and a fur wrap. I finished off the look with a grey skirt, some tights and my trusty Supergas! Enjoy!

Jacket : Zara | Knit : & Other Stories | Skirt : Joie (old) | Tights : Wolford | Shoes : Superga X The Row | Ring : & Other Stories | Clutch : Zara (old) | Fur : Detached from this Theory coat

Inspirational Thursday

Thursday, January 8, 2015

Hello there,

Today I just have some photographs that I took earlier! I was mainly just fooling around with flat lays and what sort of objects I could put together to create some creative thoughts and ideas. It wasn't an amazing time of the day to take pictures because the sun was sort of setting, but I think they still came out alright. I love fooling around with photography and putting ideas together to create fun shoots. Let me know what you think!
