Sorry I've been MIA recently. I've had SUCH a bad cold over the weekend into the earlier part of this week. I actually had to leave work Saturday night because I just felt so uncomfortable serving people food with a wicked cough and a runny nose (wouldn't you?). Anyways, here I am! It's Wednesday, and today already sucks really bad. I was late for class this morning, and ended up getting a speeding ticket on my way to school. To top it all off, I have to work tonight with this cold still not kicked. It just wants to hang on until the bitter end.
I do have some exciting news though! I finally bit the bullet and paid the other half of my deposit on some 3.1 Phillip Lim shoes that I pre-ordered through Moda Operandi back in the fall. I really just wanted to forfeit my deposit and take the credits because these shoes were around $500 and that is just not feasible with me right now. They should be here today, and I will definitely write about whether I kept them or not. I mean, I'm really going to have to LOVE them to keep them, because that is WAY too much money for shoes at this point in my life. I just have too many bills to pay.
ALSOOOOOO, I was on NeedSupply the other day and was just browsing. I went to the bags section and what did I see? MANSUR GAVRIEL BUCKET BAGS IN FREAKING STOCK. I had to refresh the page to make sure I wasn't seeing things. I almost lost it. I was also sad at the same time because I really couldn't afford a $460 bag. I knew that I wanted it so bad, and I'm probably on 5 waiting lists to get one. I've been stocking websites for ages just waiting for them to come back into stock. I knew I had to act fast, because I put the raw cammello one into my cart and the site said only two were still available, hardly giving me any time to think. So, I did the one thing I knew I had left. My mother. I acted out this long and dreadful story about how the bag was everything to me and how it wasn't really a "want" but a "need". I told her I have been looking for this bag for over a year (exaggerated) and that I was on several waiting lists (true). I pleaded to put it on her credit card and I would pay her back. She finally agreed and the Mansur Gavriel bucket bag is finally mine!!!!!! It should be at my house tomorrow, and I will be doing a full review on it!
Also, my mother wants to send me to a therapist for excessive spending habits, haha.......ha.

Obviously none of these things will be making an appearance in my wardrobe any time soon, so it's all just a dream for now.
