Happy Friday!

Hey All!

I didn't end up going to classes today. I really was just so tired and decided to sleep instead. I went over to Newbury Street to meet my friends for some lunch and shopping. I picked up a few things at H&M, American Apparel and FINALLY got myself more Rosebud Salve and another bottle of They're Real! I'm addicted! I found my camera and my cord to connect it to my computer so I might start shooting some videos! I left a little early because it started raining, and shot some pictures with my camera instead! Enjoy!

Pink Collared Shirt: H&M
Gray Romper: American Apparel
Blue Button-Up: H&M
Bralette: American Apparel
Gold Sequined Hangers: Pearls and Pastries
Tassel Garland: Studio Mucci

Hope you liked the shots!

Everyone have a great weekend!

Hey guys!

Long time to talk (to myself). I've been a tad busy the last few days. I had some major tests to study for, and my internship takes up some time as well. I've been styling a few outfits to photograph, so hopefully that will happen soon. I might snap some shots tomorrow, since I don't have to be anywhere immediately after school.

Anyways, I was on Instagram a few weeks ago, and was browsing GlitterGuide. If you don't know what GlitterGuide is, then shame on you. They were featuring some of's tech accessories that were the cutest things I've ever seen. I scooped up a few things, and they've been essentials for me lately. . .

These are all amazing! I have the mobile charger on the top left and use it religiously. When my phone is about to die, this little beauty charges it right back up in no time. I also have the charger right in the middle. It's perfection. It can be used as a iPhone 5 or 4 charger, which is amazing if my friends want to use it as well. It also comes with a car charger! The wire is wrapped in rope so it's not easily as breakable as the regular chargers. The colors and design is so cute, and I think it was only $25 or $30!

Outfit posts to come hopefully tomorrow!

Product Review: NARS Matte Multiples.

Monday, March 24, 2014

I haven't done a product review in months, and I was bored waiting for my boyfriend to get up so i decided to do just a quick little review of these beauties.

I bought two shades, Exumas, and Cappadoce. They run at $39 a piece and are only 0.26 oz of product, which is not a lot. It's a bit of a bummer that NARS chose to sell these Matte Multiples at the same price as their original multiples that are almost double the product. The original multiples are $39 and are 0.50 oz of product. What are you going to do though? People still buy them, including me.

Anyways, the price is hefty, but the pay-out is beautiful. I use both of mine every single day. They are great for contouring and just giving your face a great pop of color...

Mine are a tad beat-up. The packaging is amazing, but if you throw them around a bit into a make-up bag or something, the packaging looks wearable.

As you can see, I have some dents and scratches on them, haha. They are definitely thinner and shorter than the original multiples.

Swatches. The beautiful pink-apricot is Exumas and the bronze color is Cappadoce. They both have great pigmentation.

This is me with literally no make-up on. It may look like I have some eyeliner on but that's probably from last night because these new organic make-up wipes I have kind of suck. Anyways, no make-up.

This is after I put on JUST the matte multiples. No concealer, foundation or anything. I put Exumas on the apples of my cheeks and up near my temples and blended with a beauty blender. Then, I put Cappadoce on either side of my temple, underneath my cheek bones to my ear, and a bit on either side of my nose. You can really see the difference. They made me look like an actual living being and not a corpse as I did in the previous picture.

All in all, these multiples are great. They blend beautifully and have a great finish. I love how they don't appear shiny on the face and they are extremely pigmented. The price is a tad annoying, but it's something most of us (including myself) are willing to look past.

Currently Coveting

Wednesday, March 19, 2014

Here it is. What I'm currently coveting at the moment. I have wanted that Iro tee FOREVER. I was recently in Scoop NYC in Miami and saw them. I wanted to pick one up so bad, but they're literally $145. I seriously can't justify buying a t-shirt for $145. It's madness.

I'm also really into that safety pin cuff. It's only $70, which isn't overly expensive. The downside is they are manfactured in Australia so it's $35 to ship it to the U.S. That's a little crazy.

I also have been lusting over this Lorac palette. I'm all about neutral, girly eye shadows. I never wear anything too dark, and was never really into a dramatic eye because I think it makes me look like a tramp. This palette is perfection and I might head over to my local Ulta soon because I'm getting sick of my Naked palette.

I also have been looking after the Air Repair balm. I got a sample in my Birchbox and the stuff is amazing. You can put the balm where ever you have dry skin and it works wonders.

Guys. I NEED NEED NEED a Mansur Gavriel bucket bag. I need one. I am so annoyed and pissed at myself for missing the trunk show on Moda. There's a huge waiting list for them and I'm so pissed I missed my oppurtunity. Yea, they're like $700 a piece, but they're absolutely beautiful. I'm trying to get my boyfriend to get me one. :)

Last but certainly not least, the Matt Bernson flats. They're so incredibly classy and I sort of need them. They would look amazing with jeans, a skirt, a dress, or some slouchy pants. They are selling for $224 on NeedSupply but they're only $196 on Matt Bernson's website. I just spent SOOO much money in Florida, but I'm definitely keeping my eyes on these.

Neutral Tones

Hey everyone!

Sorry about yesterday. I was just really upset about my kitty passing and seriously did not get out of bed until 7 PM. Then went to bed for the night at midnight. So I was alive for about 5 hours and didn't feel like doing anything but eat a little. Anyways, today I'm a little better and had my mom snap some pictures of my outfit today!

Jeans: Levi's, Blouse: Vince, Cardigan: Rag&Bone, Sunglasses: Karen Walker, Shoes: Vince, Necklace: H&M, Rings: Etsy, Catbird and Vintage, Bracelets: Periwinkle Boutique, Bag: French Connection, Lipstick: Coral Bliss by MAC

I just wanted to dedicate this post to my little mister. I miss you so much and I will never forget you. You were such a good little kitty and I'm sorry you had to pass for such a stupid reason. I will love you forever. I miss you.

P.S I'm just too sad/depressed to post anything else today. Sorry :(

I'm sorry my last post was so long. It was so long, that I had to make a new one for my OOTD. I finally got someone to take some pictures of me! My mom! LOL. She took a couple of snapshots of me on our front porch today. They aren't great, but they are definitely progress.

Yup, this is me!
Blouse: Equipment, Knit: T By Alexander Wang, Jeans: Rag and Bone, Shoes: H&M, Bangle: Periwinkle Boutique, Chain: American Apparel

I'll try to do these as often as possible! Not the best quality, but it's something!

I'm Back!

Friday, March 14, 2014

Hello there!

I am finally back from Florida, and I had such a good time. It was so relaxing, yet we did so much. It started off a bit rough though. First, our flight got delayed about two hours, which was just annoying. Then, an unruly passenger who claimed he was in the military (but was actually on his way to rehab) was badgering the stewardesses, and threatening them. He was telling all of the passengers that he fought for our country, and that they were more then welcomed to "buy him drinks." He also was telling the flight attendants that he was in the military, and asked what he could get for free. Since he was unruly, loud and seriously tried to light a cigarette on the plane, the captain had to divert the plane to Jacksonville to get the disturbance off the plane. We landed, the man was arrested right then and there, and then we had to de-board the plane so the FBI could come question some people. It was a nightmare. Finally, at 2 in the morning (we were supposed to land at 7:30) we got to Fort Lauderdale. You think nothing else could go wrong right? Well it did. JetBlue ended up shipping my boyfriend's suitcase to Philadelphia. Loosing luggage is literally one of my worst fears. The look on his face when he realized his suitcase wasn't coming out of the carousel. It was terrible. Fortunately, JetBlue found his luggage in PA and it was at the Lauderdale airport the next morning.

Anyways, after the horrible beginning, we had a great time. We went to West Palm Beach, Miami, Hollywood, it was amazing. We went to the beach a lot too, just to get some color (or in my case a sunburn) I did so much damn shopping. I don't think I ever went as crazy as I did this trip. I'll try and photograph everything at a later date, but I'll try to remember what I got....

So we went to West Palm Beach and I picked up this amazing textured shirt from Sandro that has a giraffe print too it. I love anything from Sandro and wanted something to add to my wardrobe. It was so cute, and I had to have it. There's a picture on my Instagram if you click the link over to the right. Then I went to Saks and FINALLY picked up two NARS Matte Multiples. I got Exumas, which is a beautiful coral color for my cheeks, and Cappadoce, which is phenomenal for contouring. I use them both everyday, and I am completely obsessed. Then we went to this outdoor mall called City Place. It's beautiful. I went to H&M. I was in there for five minutes and had a handful of stuff. I got a gray leather biker jacket, some snake print slip on's, a white asymmetrical skirt (which you can see in a couple of photos on my Instagram), and a simple white tee that says "Tres Jolie" on it. Then we left West Palm Beach and headed to Del Rey. Atlantic Avenue is full of little shops and restaurants. We weren't exactly hungry yet so we walked around and explored. I have a favorite little boutique there called Periwinkle. They have a ton of cute jewelry. I picked up a shark tooth bangle, which is my new absolute favorite thing ever, and a gold cuff which I have been wearing non-stop.

A few days later we went to the Boca Raton Mall. This mall is HUGE and the stores are amazing. I picked up a new Vince button-down, which can be seen here. I got it at a MAJOR discount, and it cost me next to nothing at Intermix. Then I went to American Apparel and just picked up a plain white tee, and a little chain for my wrist. We then went to a little park in Boca Raton called Mizner Park. There are also some shops and restaurants there as well. We went into this home furnishings store called Z Gallerie, and it's probably the best store I've ever been in. The furnishings were BEAUTIFUL. From the rugs, to the throws, to the artwork, to just everything else. I picked up this deer head for my room. It's on sale, and I've wanted one for so long.I also picked up this picture frame, which is now resting on my shelf with a picture of my best friend and I. I also got this little geo-sphere for my shelfs, just for some new decoration.

On our last full day we went to Miami. We actually were walking down South Beach and saw a huge crowd outside the Versace Mansion. We crossed the street, and asked people what was going on. They said the Kardashians were staying there and were getting ready to leave to go somewhere. Personally, I love the Kardashians. I think they're smart, and totally business saavy. They don't particularly have any "talents", except Kendall, who is a phenomenal model, but they went with an idea ( to create their own boutique, clothing line, beauty line, and kids line) and went with it. Anyways, we waited outside the mansion and saw Scott, Kourtney and Khloe. I got some great pictures. After that, we went to Collins Avenue and did some shopping. I went to Barneys and picked up this T by Alexander Wang t-shirt. It's super cute, and the fabric is so incredibly soft. It's cropped, and will look great with either skinny or boyfriend jeans and my Vince Nina flats. I can't wait to wear it. I also picked up this Acne muscle tee. It's a bit edgier than what I normally wear, but I can't wait to style it. It's different for me, which is what I was aiming for.

We then went to Bal Harbor, which is a luxury shop mall that is about 20 minutes from South Beach. This mall is seriously my dream come true. Some stores include Prada, Chanel, YSL, Versace, Akris, Balenciaga, Chloe, Lanvin, Miu Miu, Stella McCartney, Valentino, Bottega Veneta, Gucci and more. So for me, it's the mall of my dreams. We went into Versace just to look around, and I kid you not, bumped into Scott Disick shopping. It was so weird seeing him on South Beach and then we so happened to see him in Versace. We got a tad nervous to approach him in the store, so we went outside to wait for Scott to finish shopping. The last thing we wanted to do was be rude. So we waited, and he came out of the store with two friends, and my boyfriend approached him and asked for a picture. He was really nice about it, and told us both to have a nice day. It was pretty cool. Then, I went to Neiman Marcus and picked up a navy blue silk short-sleeved Theory blouse, and a J Brand t-shirt, both on sale. Then I went to Scoop and picked up this beautiful Stella McCartney black lace bralette that will look amazing under the Acne muscle tee.

Finally, the last day we were in Florida, we went to Nordstrom Rack in Boca before we went to the airport. Yes, there are Nordstrom Racks where I am, but I knew this would be a good one because people that live in Boca are filthy rich. We went in, and I was checked out within 10 minutes because I needed to leave before blowing every dollar I had. I went in, grabbed a T By Alexander Wang tee, just because it was a beautiful blueish-gray color, a T By Alexander Wang knit, which you will see in my next post, and then I picked up this Equipment blouse. It was marked down so much, that it was such a steal. It's perfect in every way and I can't wait to wear it.

So, there it is, a complete break-down of my vacation shopping. I went way overboard, but I don't really care. I always go crazy when I go on vacation, so it was justified. Now, I will save until I go away again. This post was so long, and I'm sorry. I just love documenting everything, and I know you fashion-obsessed people like me out there would appreciate it.

I just linked everything because this post would be 3x as long if I added pictures, so I hope that's okay!

Saturday, March 8, 2014

So, the internet up here is terrible for some odd reason. The condo's wifi says it's connected, but the laptop will not budge on saying 'no network connected'. Therefore, it's hard for me to make a sensible post. Posting from my phone is okay, but not ideal. Therefore, I'll be posting on my Instagram often to be updated on my travels in Florida! Today is west palm beach! You'll find me in Chanel....

Oh and before I go, check out my new Karen Walkers....
How awesome are these? They're the Super Duper Strength. Obsessed.

Happy Monday!

Monday, March 3, 2014

I really need a camera, and/or a photographer to snap some shots of me. I love styling outfits and I'm getting bored with my collages that probably no one cares about. I love taking pictures but the lighting in my house probably couldn't be worse. I have to go into my living room to get any decent light, and the backdrop in there is not ideal. It's a tough situation.

This semester is tough. I don't have a lot of free time. I would love to go to different locations each day and shoot some outfits, but it's simply not feasible right now. Hopefully it will be once this semester is over, because my school schedule could not be worse right now. Anyways, currently in class (shocker) and bored as hell. I'm trying to avoid eye contact with my professor because every time he looks at me, he calls on me to answer a question. So messed up.

After this class, I'm going to head over to my local mall and pick up some last minute things for Florida. I am going to pick up 1 (hopefully 1) NARS matte multiple. I can't decide if I want a pink shade or a bronze shade to contour. They're $40 a piece, so hopefully I only fall in love with one. I'm also going to go to H&M and maybe get a few dresses.

I was just on the Barney's Warehouse website and fell in LOVE with these Walter Steiger ballet flats.
Ugh, I want them so bad. I am sort of embarrassed to admit I don't really have a pair of basic black ballet flats, and these would be PERFECT. They're on sale for $259, but that's a little steep for me. I just dropped a boatload on TheRealReal as previously posted, and I just bought a pair of Karen Walker sunglasses. Damn, I wish I knew about these before I spent money elsewhere!

Anyways, my teacher is getting suspicious at my rampant typing, so ta-ta for now!
