I actually have a couple of things to talk about in this post, since I haven't updated since Friday. I was browsing through some beauty channels on Youtube and came across this channel I really liked. This girl, I kid you not, must spend thousands on make-up. Every new palette, every new collection, of every make-up brand ever, she has it. It's incredible. She'll literally spend like $250 on a new NARS collection like it's nothing. That said, I was incredibly jealous watching her videos. But, one of her newer videos is a review on the new NARS collaboration with Nordstrom. I was looking through the collection and picked up two things. I got their Final Cut illuminator in Adelaide, which is exclusive to the site. It's a beautiful shimmery pink. I have another illuminator in Orgasm, and I love it. I also got a new lip pencil (because I'm completely smitten with them). I got the shade Villa Lante. I have a serious problem with buying pink lip products, and this was no exception. It's a great shade, and I can't wait to wear it.
On another note, the Peter Pilotto collection for Target was released yesterday and I also picked up a couple of things. I'm not a huge fan of crazy prints, which is what Peter Pilotto does, but a few things caught my eye....
As you can see, his prints are nuts. The dresses were way to busy for me. I am more of a "wear all basics and dress it up a little" girl. I rarely buy trendy items, because I never end up wearing them. It's all about the classics with me. Furthermore, these pieces are subtle, and totally wearable. This bikini is great. I love the elongated top, and the print has a cool vibe. I don't mind wearing crazy swim-suits, because their just swim-suits. The crop top will be great to wear to the beach when I got to Florida in March, and the shorts were seriously too cute to pass up. There was a blazer that had a matching print, but it had an ugly green lapel, so I didn't buy it.
But, onto the main event!

Now, I know anyone I know isn't looking to spend $1700 on a bag. I mean, I wish I was in that position, but it's absolutely not realistic. Proenza has always been a favorite of mine. They make classic and timeless bags and clothes. I want a PS1 more than anything, and hopefully one day I'll achieve that goal. For now, we can always stick with good alternatives. I was browsing through Asos because I will be ordering some beach cover-ups for Florida. I looked through some bags and this immediately stood out. Clearly, it's extremely similiar to the PS1, and it's literally a small fraction of the price. I also adore the scalloped edging. Who says a good black bag has to break the bank?
Also, I'm currently watching seasons 1-6 of Gossip Girl on Netflix, and it's slowly taking over my life.
